Maintenance Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic Care for Those Looking to Maintain and Continue to Improve Their Results

Why Maintenance Care Is Important

We all know that it is much easier to maintain our health than it is to get it back once it is lost so why not continue to build on the progress you have made for the long term.

Not only is it in our best interest to do so from a health standpoint, but also from a cost standpoint. Protect the investment you have made in your health by giving your body what it needs from time to time. This reasoning is similar to why we brush our teeth and visit our dentist on a regular basis.

Most of the time monthly adjustments are sufficient for maintaining our spinal health, but sometimes more frequent treatment may be needed. This is most common for anyone suffering from chronic/permanent conditions and for those who have work or recreational activities that place added stress on their spines.

Although we highly recommend maintenance care, it is of course a personal decision to continue with chiropractic as a lifestyle choice. We encourage you to treat your spine with care as you would your car or your teeth – with routine checkups and maintenance.

The Benefits of Maintenance Care

Chiropractors are concerned about the optimal function of our nervous system by removing subluxations (misalignments) that cause nerve interference and impede our body’s natural healing properties. Benefits can include:

  • Better Posture
  • Improved Sleep
  • Increased Resistance to Injury
  • Reduced Stress
  • Improved Digestion

When Should Someone Go on Maintenance Care?

Maintenance care is recommended once a patient completes their symptom and/or corrective treatment plan whether they were able to attain 100% recovery (we wish this was possible for everyone) or continue with chronic and/or permanent issues (of course hopefully in a milder form).

Either way, maintenance care, also known as wellness care, is designed to reinforce the progress made, further enrich overall health and to keep our patient’s spinal health functioning at the highest level possible.

Patient Testimonials

Dr. Schnelle has provided me with great chiropractic treatment. I go for preventative care and to help with old injuries from a car accident. He’s not like some chiropractors who try and get you to come in even if you don’t need care – he’s honest and caring – which I love.*

Ashley

I came in for lower back pain and overall preventative/maintenance care. My results have been good and I have definitely improved. The adjustments always gave me more range of motion and less pain in my lower back. I now continue with maintenance care to treat subluxations and promote my overall health.*

David

I had been dealing with my sciatica for a year before I sought care. I was unable to sit for more than 10 minutes without being in pain. Dr. Schnelle took x-rays and put together a treatment plan for me. I am happy to report after 9 months, I am able to sit and it has made travel much more enjoyable. I have continued the maintenance program Dr. Schnelle gave me and still have success!*
